Have you ever felt so full of creative energy you might explode. Well I am at that point. I am going to begin work on my biggest endevor yet, we will see. I am going to use Oils but the idea is in my head, so it will be drawn out first. This is going to take me longer than a day, so I will be tracking my progress with photos.
I have no formal training with painting with oils, the only class I ever took was a watercolor class when I was about 15-16 years old.
Hopefully I will update on how its going tonight.

- This blog is to share my paintings with the world. I have been an artist at heart since I was little. I remember telling my Mom at 6 years old I was going to be an artist. Then life got in the way of my dream. I took 2 years of art in 9th and 10th grade; I dropped out of school in 1995. I was lost for a while. Then I met my husband. We were married in 1999. Then in 2001 I had my son Zachary. He encouraged me to go back to school. I ended up going into Nursing and I have been a nurse since 2007. In 2008 my daughter Emily was born. With school, married life and kids my dreams of art were pushed deep inside me. Three years ago I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis; It is an auto-immune disease. It is slowly attacking my joints I feel it most in my hands and feet. I am now 32 and have been exploding inside. After over 10 - 15 years of hiding my art away in the closet, I am finally bringing it to life.
